Just over the bridge is Pineyland Park. Walk carefully through the pine forest, there may be Popcones and Gumbars about!
The pine trees smell so good. Their needles crunch underfoot and, Oh! did you see the fox? She ran off toward the Fabulous Forest. (We’ll go there another day.)
Here we are at the edge of the woods. The meadow is bright green and full of flowers, red and blue and white and yellow and violet and pink. Yum. Shall we graze?
Oh, my tummy is so full. Perhaps a nap? Let’s rest over there in the shade of the oldest oak tree in the woods. Arthur Oak, he is. Can be a touch grouchy if you don’t properly appreciate his beautiful bark and huge green canopy of leaves. I’ll show you how to make him happy. No fear there.
